Our Story
The Beginning
Ever since she decorated her first dollhouse, Kristen knew she was born to be an interior designer. When she went to her friend's houses, she would organize their playrooms rather than play with the toys. What five year old's favorite channel is HGTV? She didn't think her design dream was feasible to turn her passion into her paycheck, but after working in the corporate world, she quickly realized that money can't buy happiness.
The Journey
The idiom Nooks & Crannies means "every part or place, including the smallest or most hidden parts" where Kristen will thoughtfully design every corner & crevice of your home by only filling it with your favorite things. With the help & support of her husband Danny, together they combine their names Kristen & Danny to form Kranny. They transformed their vintage 1949 house to meet today's modern standards.
The Style
She would describe her style as "vintage meets modern" taking inspiration from ancient feng shui and modern minimalism, or "grand-millennial" nostalgia with contemporary elements, but she would love to design any places & spaces to showcase your own unique style.
